With knowing hands we
Part the clouds to find the sun
And chase the blue notes

These words I write here
Just thoughts flying free, unbound
No pretense, no glam
Over pine needles
And pavement, these gypsy feet
Rush toward nothing

So I Will

And so I will let
Go of you and me and him
When flesh and bone still-
We're not supposed to mention
Life's daily unpleasantries
